CIS Technical Electives
Have technical elective course credit authorized on your degree plan before taking the course.
At least two of the four required technical electives must be upper division (3000 or 4000 level) courses. For official course descriptions and prerequisites visit the University of Houston Course Catalog.
The CIS program accepts all 3000 or 4000-level classes in the College of Engineering (including in the Division of Technology) and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics as Technical Electives.

- You need to consult a faculty in the CIS program to be set up for one of the courses: CIS 3399, CIS 4198, CIS 4298, CIS 4390, CIS 4396, CIS 4398, CIS 4399.
